B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology
Cardiac Care Technology measures how well a heart is functioning and monitors heart rate. Technicians here measure how well a patient's heart is functioning. Cardiac Care Technicians are the medical professionals who administer various tests that assist the doctor in diagnosis. Cardiac Care Technicians assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing, where a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carries blood into the heart. Once doctors insert the catheter, Technicians monitor patients' heart rate and blood pressure, looking for any signs of trouble or distress.
Duration - 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Eligibility criteria: 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized educational Board with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology as the main subjects at 10+2 level. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level
