Course Description

DEPT. OF RADIO MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY

Radio medical uses technically sophisticated equipment that produces x-radiation used to create
images of the human body. If you have a strong background in math and science, this program
will prepare you for a career as a radiographer.

B.Sc. Radio Medical Imaging Technology

B.Sc. in Radio Imaging Technology is a 3-4 year undergraduate course in Medical Lab Technology. Medical Radiography Imaging Technology involves the methods and processes used to take internal pictures of the human body parts/organs and capacities thereof, for clinical purpose, such as investigation of the body’s normal anatomy and physiology.

Duration: 3 Years (6 Semester) / 2 Years (4 Semester) For LEET

Eligibility: All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology from recognized Board/ University / Council or 10+2 with vocational course in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 45% marks( 40% marks in case of candidate belonging to Reserved category) in aggregate.

After completing your degree in this field you will become Radiologist (MD), Radiology Technologist/ Radiographer, Radiology Technician. Ultrasound Technician/Diagnostic/ Medical Sonographer, MRI Technician, CT Tech/
CT Scan Technologist, There are a lucrative job for the radiologists.
